We're doing something a little unorthodox and what worked on the test port is choking on the production port. Making a couple quick alterations to keep the production sanity checks happy.

(Unfortunately we're waiting on a timer to reset.)

While I don't understand how our test environment let us boot up, I think I see what was happening and I will try the update again in a few hours, metaphorical weather permitting.
