#500, "Celebrity Spheres"

Anyone ever think about famous characters from TV, movies or books and what sphere they would be? Well me neither, until today... I found it useful to think about when choosing a sphere.

It can get pointless if you just think in terms of superficial things, but for me at least, it's interesting to think of the different ways these intentionally of vague words apply to different characters I've seen.

What sphere are Jules or Vincent (Pulp Fiction)? Death? Pride? Revelation?

How about James Cole (12 Monkeys)? Fate? Dedication?

Lt Col. Frank Slade (Scent of a Woman) Passion? Anger?

Or to incite controversy, what sphere would Bush be?

Any others?

An argument could be made for Jules being sphere Judgement. My best guess for Vincent is Dedication.

As for Cole, although the movie itself was closer to Revelation, the character makes me think of someone of sphere Truth in a harsh situation.

The others you mentioned I either don't know or won't comment on.

I don't think you can sum up most characters with a single sphere, as they're really more complex than that.

Look at the roles of all the characters just on our own Battlefield. Most of them could easily have several spheres influencing them. Especially those who do a lot of roleplaying. Some go completely contrary to their sphere or try to in an attempt to overcome those innate tendencies. So trying to pick a single sphere for a Real person I think is kind of hard. Puts them in too much of a pigeonhole. IMHO
