It always seemed rather silly that someone is in my PK range, yet we can not group together. I know this is how its been since the maple.can.net days, but it seems like it happens to me way more often these days and is annoying.
I can't really think of a single reason why it would be more balanced for me to kill or die to people +/-9 levels, but not be able to group with them.

While grouping range ignores the xp difference, being only +-8 levels. PK range, however, is set so that the guy with more xp needs to have less than 30% more xp than the guy with less xp so that the two are in each others PK range. If the level difference is +-9, there is differing xp penalties of the characters in play, allowing the two characters to be in each others PK range.

Which is why the rank difference for group should be +-9 as well not +-8
|

I'm lvl 42, with 0 pk wins, in pk range with hero's I can't group with.
