#3743, "Three Suggestions/Ideas"
|
The first two are related.
1) Rethinking the "hoarding" code. Instead of it being an automatic think, like I assume it to be, perhaps the code could identify those it would label as hoarders and then have an imm look over the records to see if they'd agree. These records might include log-in times, other characters played at that IP, etc. This way those of us who play only periodically, but are dedicated to one character aren't penalized as those who play multiple characters and one "hoarder" are.
2) Related to 1, perhaps a special "Player Notes" section for each character that outlines said infrequency of play. Real life leaves little to no time for CF, but sometimes I'll play to kill some time (MAYBE once or twice a week for 1 or 2 hours). I could include that in my "Player Notes" and immortals would realize that I'm not off playing something else, I'm just mired in real life affairs.
3) Totally unrelated to either 1 or 2, please allow the use of ellipses in roles. Thank you.

Actually, we're quite happy with the hoarding code.

If you play this infrequently, chances are, you aren't going to get hit by the hoarding code. So long, and thanks for all the fish!
