It would be helpful to see a couple of normal weekends to see the fluctuation. Also, stats like average number of chars online would be good indicators. The stats state the obvious: people focused on ranking since it was double xp weekend.

Also, full week's stats would be useful in the comparison as well, since people can always take a head start for the weekend, rolling a day or two before and playing off the newbie time.

Did you actually read my post? I showed the weekend before double xp weekend

I'm not really interested in a total in-depth analysis of all the numbers to be honest. The weekend accomplished what I hoped it would, and this small set of data shows that.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

My bad, I meant the week before that, to get some kind of crude evaluation of the normal fluctuation. As I see it, the clear increase is amount of levels gained and the number of heroes. The rest is debatable in my poorly informed opinion, though you could always use the square root of the numbers as an error estimate and argue for a slight increase in rest of the stats at the minimum.

You'll have to pardon my scientist ass for being curious. You don't have to do what you aren't interested in doing. The good rule of thumb with this kind of stat-providing public service is: when it gets boring, stop doing it.

Out of curiousity, how much did the shifter population among new characters change? The double xp benefits shifters in particular, as they generally want to rank up to the powerful forms quickly, so I'd see the weekend attract more people to shifters than the revamp normally would.

Shifters had the biggest jump in population (~15 new shifters), followed by warriors (~12 new), and then a bunch of classes in the 3-5 range.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Awesome weekend by far. Tried a new class, got to explore a new area for me, got past that tedious 20-30 grind fairly quickly and had an all around enjoyable weekend. Thanks a ton Zulg
