I've noticed that there are a lot of "cat" forms. And, of course, that
should be so, considering they are some of the greatest predators to
exist in the mammal world. However, I was playing Street Fighter 2,
and as I was beating that stringy bastard's (Dhalsim) ass, I saw that
in the background of the stage there were 4 huge elephants.

Why not toss the panther and put in the elephant? If you've ever
watched the discovery channel you'd know that lions don't have #####
on them. In fact, nothing does unless the elephant is a baby, or it's
dead. I can imagine an enraged elephant trampling and goring it's foes
and causing extreme damage. Also, they'd get a bit of damage reduction
to weapons, like giants.

Anywho, anyone like the elephant idea?

(And I know there is a Pachyderm form, but eh...is that the same thing?

I am 99.9% sure that pachyderm is another way of saying elephant. You could change it though so it would be different, because there are different kinds of elephants. I would say a "rogue male elephant" would probably be what your looking for. I'm not being sexist, but those are the ones that are bad news. I think it would probably be the hardest hitting offensive form, trample, gore, and headbutt being some skill options. However it would dodge ZERO I think. Heck of a trade off, huge hits, but take every hit dished out at you.

Resistance to all damage (regardless of align or attack type), because of skin thickness. And believe it or not, quiet movement in the wilderness. It's been scientifically proven that elephants have the most potential for walking silently, because of how they're feet are made. An elephants foot bone structure keeps it constantly walking on it's toes (literally), and it walks on a huge round pad of cartiledge. So an elephant makes almost no noise when it walks.

If you've seen the size of an elephant...it isn't going to be able to walk quietly in the woods even if its footsteps aren't making noise. Consider that a human walking on grass won't make too much noise either with their feet, but all that clangling armor and pressing through/past brush is going to set off the ears of anyone nearby.

Hmm, you should watch animal channel some more.
The elephants do sneak quite well, believe it or not.

Best one would be a poisonous spider monkey. That sneaks and makes omelettes.

Elephants are extrememly quiet walkers.

Even if they step on a stick and it breaks it breaks under their foot pad and is silenced.

The fact that they walk on their toes has nothing to do with it really.
