Shouldn't these affect your weight?
i.e. if you enlarge, your gear weighs that much more. If you reduce, it weighs less.
This has implications for bash, disarm, etc.

a 2 lb belt might fall off if it doesn't get smaller,

No.

So a 2 pound belt shoudl weight different if a gnome wears it or a giant wears it? It's still a 2 pound belt.
>This has implications for bash, disarm, etc.
Size already has implications for bash.
So long, and thanks for all the fish!

but since both gnome and giant can wear it anyway, I guess that's where we suspend disbelief.
However, should reduced giants be able to wear giant only gear, or enlarged gnomes gnome only gear?
Just a thought. Not really suggesting anything changes.

There's also the issue of whether a reduced guy can bash as well as before he reduced, weightwise.
ie two giants reduce should bash each other less effectively than 2 giants enlarged, maybe.

It's easier to explain it with changed volume/maintained weight. Aka the density changes.
Why change what is not broken?
