Is there any chance Emperor could get the ability to demote (and anathema if you're feeling imperial today) offline like imms can? I understand why maybe promotion should require online, but it is a massive pain not being able to clear out clearly inactive characters from positions that are preventing promotions from happening. It puts a real damper on rp if someone does something incredibly cool, you want to promote them on the spot but then have to wait and do it 24-48 hours later instead so you can line up with an imm to handle the swap. Just loses a lot of the spontaneity and such.
