It means he wasn't affected by the bloodthirst.
The only maladaction in this log is impale, what is usually not enough by itself to change the combat dramatically because it only gives something like -6str/-6dex at hero?
You didn't have enough +stats from armors to cover the only impale?
Because if we imagine that you had impale covered then why did you only hit Bosephus once and he did hit you 8 times? You both had the same strength, he's smaller, you wield swords and he wields a spear, then 2 axes.
