#727, "Some questions about thief skills..."

first off...

Well lets say you pick a lock on a door that leads into a locked room in an inn. You enter the room and lock the door behind you using your "relock" skill. Could you lock and relock the same door and master your "pick lock" and "relock" skills on that one door? Or does it take many locks to master your skill? And if you can use the same lock over and over, does the skill exp you get from that one lock decrease every time, just as killing the same thing thing over and over in the same area will?

and secondly...

Do you gain skill exp when using "steal" on other players in you PK range? And if so, couldn't two thieves get together and rob eachother blind untill each of their skills are mastered? Im sure most would be willing to do this, because it seems a much easyier way to master your skill then being attacked by everything you attempt to steal from.

anyway, these questions can be easily asked in character, but i just joined the forum and wanted to post something... ^_^

I think you could pick and relock the same door repeatedly. However, it will take a long-ass time to perfect picklock, and there will still be doors you can't pick.

Regarding steal, it is easier to steal repeatedly from weak mobs when you are low level and kill them, ranking as you do.
