Matusquella Doidod'pedra the Dai Sensei of the Miyama Ryu, Veteran of Battle

Description

You see before you a shadowy figure, covered in a long hooded robe.
Beside the loose fitting hood, designed to give him his privacy,
the rest of his clothing is near form-fitting, giving just enough room
to keep his full range of movements. Though you see no immediately obvious
weaponry, flashes of steel dance before your eyes as you look at him.
Under the shadows of his hood, you notice a sharp beak and almost glowing
blue eyes piercing his surroundings and watching every movement. As he
quickly glides into the shadows you have time to notice a pair of long
wings folded under his robe.

Chapter 3


Old people and priorities
Added Sat Jun 23 10:44:00 2018 at level 51:

A long time has passed since Matus left his village with a mission in his heart.
He improved his techniques and faced many challenges and yet there are many more
ahead. There are one or two from his early days that are still at the village
today. The young call him old. Well, Matus is old, and he doesn't care. The young
rules the village, and he is proud he was the one that gave a hut to the new
Commander.
Matus didn't had much work as Drillmaster: The village was kind of empty and the
new blood didn't gave him any trouble at all. Then came the rites and the old
had to stepped down to let the new rise.
Now as Veteran of Battle Matus is back to business. He is almost sure he didn't
killed a single mage when he was Drillmaster, and just recently he got one more
mage skull, the way one assassin should kill, with a single blow. And that will
be his priority again, a bit forgotten for some time.

It's time to move on
Added Thu Mar 8 11:15:21 2018 at level 36:

Matus decided he spent too much time already where he are.
It's time to grow and face more powerfull mages. Take the
skull of those who swore they would kill him when he grow
older. Matus wanna face that challange, see if it was just
empty words. Little else he can do for the village where
he is now, when there are more villagers at his level than
heroes. He's kind of excited about what waits for him, and
he will embrace with his heart whatever it is, if its for
the good of his village.

Fleeing and failing
Added Wed Dec 13 12:20:15 2017 at level 23:

When Matusquella awoke, he did not know where he was or what had happened.
He was in a kind of depression, and it was only when he left that he saw the
decapitated body of his friend Benzze that he knew he was in danger. The two
had fled from the small village where they lived under the orders from their
mayor to not be captured by the kidnappers. These people came from time to
time in the village, took two or three children and they were never seen again.
The mayor, wanting to save his son, asked Matusquella to guide him to the next
village. They were not lucky. They were followed and Matusquella only survived
because he fell into the depression.

Fearful and cold, Matusquella returned to the village to tell what happened to
the mayor. How surprised was he when he saw his village destroyed, the mayor
hanged in the only square of the town. The only survivor, the local teacher,
told what happened: Finding no children in the city, they burned everything
and everyone. The village was no longer of any use to them. These monsters were
wizards who used children in their experiences because they possessed a more
open and receptive mind.

Now beyond fear and cold, he was very angry. Not knowing where to go, he took
a turn and walked for days until he reached Silverwood. From there to Galadon
it was a jump, and it was there that he began to work out a way to get revenge
on those magicians. And all of them.
