Chapter 5

The moment when the dreams were becoming a glimpse of the future rather than a
fantasy became more evident on this fateful day. Wijara now Emperor of Thera!
Wijara continues to experience the same night time dream with increasing frequency.
He tries to analyse the dream, looking for clues, his age to determine how far in the future.
But the images remain blurry, he thinks he can make out Vlalkon, based on his large
size. Interestingly and unmistakingly there is an orc in the party. This was a surprise as to
why he would bring an orc to an Imperial triumph. But he continued to question the
role of orcs. He realised they are a strong force and that they share all the same enemies
as the Empire. But they remain uncivilized. Now as Emperor he had the power he could
choose to destroy the orcs for being uncivilized or form an alliance and use them like a
a mercenary army to push forward the vision of the Empire. Now Wijara was Emperor
he had the greatest of all responsibilities to see Thera become the civilized world
desired by many. Wijara decided that the orcs, at least for now, could help bring this
outcome, even if they did not walk the civilized path themselves. Once stronger the
orcs could be easily subdued later if required. Wijara could not be sure how much of
this benefit was bias from his dreams. The orcs are known to occasionally have a demonic
ancestor in their family tree. Perhaps this Abyssal blood could manifest in a way to be of
some use in to breaking in to the 1st circle of hell. Wijara wondered if he brought orcs
in the future because they would provide some important tool or just he thought they might.

Chapter 4

Finally Wijara has reached the pinnacle in his guild and has been promoted to Elite Blade.
On one fateful day in the Month of Futlity, Wijara ventured in to the dark woods.
Anticipation motivating his every step even though he knew disappointment awaited.
Each Wicked Ent was pushed aside quickly until he reached the wight with his sword.
Looking at the blessed obulus it occurred to Wijara that it should be a tool for a mage
or a thief or cleric. But not for Wijara.
Wijara proceeded and finally reached the white bearded Charon.
Any remaining excitement and anticipation was voided once the coin proved useless.
Wijara looked around the shores of Acheron one more time before finally going
home. Head down with occasional moans about his birthright.
Later that night, Wijara had a new dream. No longer one of the nine dreams but
a totally new dream. Upon awaking he felt excited by the novelty of this dream.
He penned it in his journal.

Crossing the River
I noticed the cool spray of the water over my eyes. I wiped it off and before me stood
the white bearded demonic Charon, with an apathetic look upon his face.
The look suddenly changed to alarm and then fear. I turn around and saw my army.
A great Imperial army, Blades, Shadow, Divines and Blacks. They waited for my move
I was the Emperor of Thera. I turned back to Charon and lifted my Armageddon sword
High in the air and yelled "The Empire shall cross this river now!"
Charon snarled at us and I gave the order to attack. What came next was a brutal display
of force and power. I swung my two swords hard and fast like it was the last fight
of my life. Charon, moments before death cowered in fear and conceded
to me. We gained access to the 1st circle of hell. The imperial army bowed down to
me in pure admiration. A smile appeared on my face and I began thinking that
this was my birthright. I woke up and felt somewhat disappointed it was a dream.

Wijara felt like this dream was a future, but a possible future. Dedication is what
is required to make this future a reality he thought. Wijara, now focused more than
ever.

Chapter 3

The Smooth Marble Road
Something is chasing me but I don't know what. I am running around a smooth marble road
and I can hear the sounds of bittersweet music in the streets. I can make out some of the
musicians, but they do not look right. I keep running, but I fear I am going around in circles.
The dream continues, never ending, the exit seems clear but in my dream I keep running
around.

Cold World
I can see the indistinct forms of shades frozen beneath the lake's surface - some upright,
some inverted or bent at impossible angles. The winds blow with such force that I lean
against them to avoid sprawling across the icy landscape. To the south the mountainous form
of what appears to be a grand devil rises up, his six wings revealing. I feel a strong urge to
speak to this devil but can never find it.

Chapter 2

The Woods dream
Suddenly I found myself in a dark place. Thick and twisted woodland of misshapen trees with
gray and withered leaves were all around me. As I walked around wiry bushes bearing sharp
and poisonous barbs teared my feet and limbs. In the distance I spot some black dogs
looking very mean. I try to avoid them and walk straight in to a twisted tree that hisses our an
ephemeral cry. I wake up immediately each time.

The Storm dream
I am battered by violent storm winds like a hurricane of wailing souls. I see in front a steep
drop to what looks like a screaming abyss. The wind pushes me but a few jutting rocks allows
me to make passage down the cliffside. The winds begin to ease and I discover a three-
headed dog standing over a huge brass bowl. Every time I have this dream the dog sees me
and jumps my way and I wake up.

The Statue
I see a large statue. The grim-faced heads of the beast are recognizable only as corruptions of
animals of the natural world. A scroll hangs around the beast's neck bearing the words of the
Curse of Curses. In silence the statue makes a complex but blatantly insulting gesture giving
me a feeling of horror. The scroll reads: "May the heavens condemn you to the cold stone of
dirges and the curse of curses prostrate you in sorrow!" I recall nothing else from the dream.

The Prison
I am in a locked cell, the walls are damp, I smell spoiled food, vomit and urine. Dim light
filters under the door and I can hear the sound of splashing water. The rest of the dream is
about thoughts trying to escape, I never get out.

The lightwalkers
This dream is different, instead of creatures of darkness, I see those of the light. There are
three. The first, clearly a wizard in sky blue robes. The other two are elves, one a paladin the
other possibly his squire. The dream is mostly watching these three, but I can just make out
some whimpering pleas coming from behind a door.

The Shop
Silk shaded lamps light the painted screens and priceless antiques decorate what can only be
a shop. I can make out the smell of herbal tea waft in through the curtain at the back of
the store. With a white aura there is a beast with an eagle for a head. It does not attack me,
but wants to know if I would like to buy a ring or a gem. I always try to buy it but can
never find the gold.

My Name
I am standing on a frozen lake, cliffs all around and I come across a tremendous giant that
looks right at me, he speak of sacrifice. I hear my name called out, but there is nobody there.
I can never work out who said my name. Every time I have this dream, I wake when the giant
grabs and picks me up.

Chapter 1

Wijara, like other fire giants quickly worked out he was strong and tougher than most.
So he pursued the guild of the warrior to make use of his natural abilities.
While training hard in this guild he observed the Empire, it's strength and order.
This appealed to Wijara and he eventually took the oath once the Emperor personally
presented him a gift to do so. But there is much more to Wijara than this.
Ever since Wijara was a child, he had dreams, first it was the same 3 dreams.
Then the same 6 dreams and by the time he stopping growing, 9 dreams.
Wijara has continued to have the same 9 dreams his whole life. He does not have em
every night. Perhaps one a month. Over the years they have begun to wear him down
As he can not change the outcome, the 9 dreams are always the same.
He carries with him his diary, he has called it "The Dreams". In this book he has
detailed each dream. Though at the time he penned the pages he did not fully appreciate
Where the dreams took place. With access to the Imperial halls and the library
Wijara now knows he is dreaming about a place called the Inferno. A place where mortals
once could visit but can no longer. For now Wijara will advance more titles and try
to learn more about this place and try to find out why he continues to have these dreams.
