#517, "Familiar Tweaks"


          

Basically, 95% of conjurers have one of two familiars.

Those two familiars are now a little less good, and all the other options are now a little more good. More to come.

Oh, and a little part of that got messed up. (My bad for not doing better testing.) Don't freak out too much if you see some familiar weirdness between now and next crash/reboot.

I mean, if it's not as if you have any say in what familiar you get, aside from your choice in align etc etc. Of the 4 conjurers I played, all four got the faerie dragon. If the power levels have been tweaked, how about the odds of getting a different familiar?

It's not so much of a stretch that if you flip 4 coins in a row, you will get heads 4 times.

Roughly 4% of the time, you'll get the same familiar four times in a row if you stay with the same alignment. 4% isn't so unusual that I suspect anything's broken, especially when you consider forum self-selection (i.e. no one posts to say "I got the same familiar twice, then two other ones the next two times.").
