#1757, "Change to skills/spells that destroy corpses"
|
They will no longer destroy the corpse, but will put it in a state that nothing else can be done to it. The descriptions will change making the corpse unidentifiable, but it will still be there and still be able to be both corpseguarded and looted.
Example: If you butcher a corpse, a necromancer will no longer be able to animate it. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Also curious and to make sure they were included if intended.
Of course, if they do indeed devour a corpse, perhaps that is the exception. Hehe

If you see things that you think should be included that weren't post on the bug board with a log. I am fairly certain I took care of every possibility. I won't be answering questions like this here anymore. So long, and thanks for all the fish!

Lowbie looters and mud crash protection. Woot!
Additionally, I would like to suggest would be that once it is butchered or whatever, it cannot be located. Maybe it is that way already.
Will Maelstrom of the Veils be changed to allow to loot from butchered corpses? With a Maelstrom outlander I had, it was very nice way to recollect weapons lost due to strip.
Are mob corpses treated the same way as PC corpses?

It can still be located, but not readily identifiable as to whose corpse it is.

I don't see why it would. "More challenging tasks, such as getting things from containers, will still be beyond them."

Does this mean the corpse will still decay and any loot still on it be sent to the pit after it has been put into this state?
