Ok say I was using lash and it appeared to miss over and over
against a shapeshifter with barrier.

What I want to know is if Barrier protects against lash or
if the dam redux is enough that it doesn't scratch him and
just appears that I miss.

What kept happening when I would use it was I would lash and get miss
15 for 20 if not worse odds and after a miss the opponent wasn't lagged
at all. I know this only because they were able to repetedly flee.
But when barrier fell lash would work 10 for 15 and actully
did lag the opponent. this also happened more than once in fights was
just a little curious could be RNG... but thought that maybe unlike
other lagging abilities such as trip that lash didn't seem to lagg
when dam redux reduced damage to miss.

I'm positive that you're mistaken.
