#3044, "Hardan wood"

There is an invoker in Hardan wood. It seems that you cannot get to him by walking. I managed to teleport to him and then walk to other parts of the wood, but at some point there is no way to return. Sorry, no details, but worth checking.

As you can see, I leave "Among the Yew" with 3 exits
and go to "Among the Yew" with 4 exits and leaving
it in all directions does not lead to 3-exit room. I am also
reasonably confident that it cannot be reached any other way.
Looked for it for a hour or more.

Through Brush and Branches
A deep melancholy envelops this wood in the form of shadow.
Dense
humidity chokes the air as the forest closes in around you.
Though the
shadow dominates, light has begun to pour through holes in the
canopy
above. Large shrubs and foliage have grown past your knees,
entangling
your legs and making passage difficult. Catching your feet
with every
step, the soft sound of snapping green is all you can hear
aside from
the distant mourning of the wind and the low anguished groans
of the
reddish giants about you.

A deep melancholy envelops this wood in the form of shadow.
Dense
humidity chokes the air as the forest closes in around you.
Only a dim
light ekes through the thick canopy far above. Bare tangled
branches
hinder your movement, surrounding you in a thick briar of dead
wood.
Snapping like brittle bones with your passage, they are all
you hear
aside from the distant mourning of the wind and the low
anguished
groans of the reddish giants about you.

Among the Bristlecone
Thousands of yellow-green needles poke and prod as you pass
through this
grove of pine. Angular light-brown limbs protrude from giant
twisted
trunks, hindering your passage. Though shielded from the
fierce wind,
you can clearly see the taller boughs bending to its might.
Your focus
quickly returns to the rocky terrain about you as loose stones
and
slippery brown moss make for a difficult climb. Harsh hollow
whistles
pierce the air as straining limbs groan in protest, the din
growing with
each treacherous step. Thinning to the east, the open air
beckons you
from the relative safety of this sheltered copse.

     A single copper coin.
A wolf sniffs the air.
A forest circles everything near.
A majestic pine stands here.

It is a maze. And I am 100% positive you can get to the
invoker by walking. Try using scan...try looking around...try
reading room descriptions. The hints are there.

So long, and thanks for all the fish!
