#22776, "Entwine Bug?"

Small log snippet below. There is either a bug with the entwine echo not happening OR they should not be able to exit a fight in this way. Because if they are entwined I should simply pull them back out with my weapon shadow or not. Either way.

Thaedan drives a blessed dagger named 'Heartseeker' into your side!
Thaedan's knifing EVISCERATES you!
You yell 'Help! Thaedan knifed me!'
You parry Thaedan's searing light.

Its pretty much the exact situation that thief skill was designed for.

Thanks for the reply. As I said it could go either way so given its gone this way ...

There is no echo for the entwine ... Should there be one? Vanish/Word have an echo indicating that the weapon has been unentwined.

Without the echo ... my issue was if entwined and they do a flip but hide in the same room and cant walk off cause they are entwined surely I could just pull on the entwining weapon and bring them back out keeping combat going ... I do after all have a point of contact to the victim. Which is different to flipping and hidding from a bash down/trip down etc.

More trouble than its worth in my opinion. Entwine has a lot of really strange quirks to it that don't exactly match well with IC and OOC aspects. The break in combat is what allows him to move, similar to how people walk out of combat between combat rounds or other such instances.
