Dear Santa UI (not urinary infection), please give truesight, even if in limited form, to pledges once they hit 25. My past experience is pledging to fortress, for example, grants something right then and there, regardless whether they have an evil kill, perhaps.

I completely agree with the requirement for a mage kill for entrance to the cabal. And I am fine with not getting truesight right at pledging if below 25. But once you get to 25, if you haven't been able to get a kill, which can be for no lack of trying, most mages are invisible all the time and long stretches go with no mages, invisible or otherwise, because the playerbase isn't what it used to be.

People regularly complain and just delete for waiting. People who should be able to join the cabal, or at least have a good chance. As it is, you could go to hero without a mage kill, no truesight, just be a gimp.

Someone else suggested making it on a timer, so not like regular truesight. Meaning they can use it, have it for a few hours, then a cool down timer of 12 or 24 hours. This at least let's them know if there's even someone out there to try and find.

It's extremely frustrating for someone to want to join a cabal, rp terrifically, do everything they can, but just not be able to even find much less get a kill on a mage just for lack of seeing. I anticipate the response being people have always been able to do it, but that's not a good argument, you can't prove the negative, and we already do know that a lot of people have in fact deleted after a couple weeks of spending their time just trying to find a mage.

So, please, let pledges get truesight at 25. Let them at least be able to try. If they don't get the kill after that, it's on them.
