Yeah, well .. not that it would have made much of a difference, but I blame my bad showing on two things:

1. Bartering for heals is mucho difficult when you've recently died.

2. Lyristeon scared Optomikum into the snare. The idea was for me to ambush him to get him to flee into the snare. It wouldn't have changed the outcome except dropped him an additional 100hp, but I would have felt happier thinking about it later in my mind -- because then I would have done everything I could. Lyristeon had a way of injecting chaos into my plans, though!
