Somewhere far away, in the darkness of a fortified tower at the edge of the Coven's compound...

... A malicious djinn awaits the words of a masked alchemist by the name of Xaelobran.

His first wish complete, he pauses before making the second one.

Xaelobran looks over at his bretheren, who stand in the darkness outside the circle of blessed candles and smoking urns.

"A second wish then, to thwart the Mors-Gravis demon who has robbed us of what is rightfully ours."

The djinn smiles.

Xaelobran whispers his wish to the trapped spirit. From the shadows another of the Coven cries out, "Wait!"

The djinn grins. "Too late."

A ripple passes through the air around you.

You look around, wondering what could have just happened.

Xaelobran sits there in the darkness, chin in hand, frowning.

"We knew the risks." He looks at those around him.

"A moment, djinn, before the final wish..."
