Subject: Youth of Zykym

This story beginned in the Northern part of the land, where snow reigns and
cold weather kill everything that is too weak or not enough furry to
withstand it. It is the story of Zykym, son of Lorentinas and Molirnae. Both
lived in a small town of only elves, up in the mountains. Zykym was a
cheerful children, he would play all day outside with other childrens. He
would leave early in the morning and come back late in the evening with a
huge smile in his face. He was happy, everyone was. Although sometimes, it
is
when the happyness reigns that darkness strikes harder. One day, the sun
never got up for almost every young elves who died to a disease. Zykym was
away with his family to visit some friends in Darsylon...then the days were
no longer the same for the young elf. His parents told him his friends were
all gone for a while...it broked the young elf's heart, being left all
alone.
So he would stay from now on inside his bedroom, looking at the world from a
window. The snowflakes falling from the sky...or the stars that gave him
such
a warm feeling. One day, he had enough. He wanted to be with his friends. He
ran away from home one morning and walked in a forest nearby who was much
different from all the snow...it was comfortable to walk with simply his own
clothings. After 2 days of walking, he fainted from hunger and was tired
from
all the walking. He woke up somewhere quite comfortable...in some sort of
cavern. A creature looking much like a bear was looking at him nearby.
Scared, the young elf started to cry. The creature walked slowly and said
''Do not be afraid, I will not hurt you.'' These words coming from this
creature's mouth surprised him but in the same way...calmed him. The
creature
called himself ''A giant panda'', which was an unusual creature for Zykym.
The panda was telling him that he lived for many centuries due to a spell
casted on him. With the time, he develloped a lot of wisdom and was able to
know how to speak the common language. The panda said that he would bring
Zykym back to his city which was a good thing since his parents were quite
upset and afraid that something happened to him. The panda was about to
leave
when Zykym ran his way and asked him to stay. The Panda wasn't in his
element
so he said he could not...which made Zykym cry. The penda then said that
whenever he wishes to talk to him, to come to the forest south and call his
name, and he will be there. As the Panda left, Zykym smiled to his parents
and said ''I have a friend again!''

Subject: Death of the Panda

As the days went by, 100 years later, they still were together. When his
parents were not teaching him how to behave, manners and how to speak like
an
elf, the Panda would share his wisdom. And with the time spent with the
panda, Zykym would adapt to his way of life and become more and more
solitary
which is still visible today.They were united like best friends. The panda
was his second father. But all good things as an end...the panda became
older
and older...and one day, he asked Zykym to join him in the Everlasting Tree,
the home of the Giant Panda. The panda had a hard time walking inside, Zykym
felt that something bad would happend...but he was a man now, he knew that
one day, they would have to separate...but now yet. The panda sat nearby the
elf and smiled at him while some tears would drop...and he started talking.
Panda says ''You know, Zykym, in your life, you will have a lot of
friends...that isn't elves. I know that. Since soon you will leave for the
academy. But know that life is not eternal and sooner or later, they will
die...and you will live. But never be sad...they will always be in your
heart.''
Zykym says ''What are you saying? Are you...dying?''
Panda says ''My body can no longer resist...it has become old...too old. But
know that when I do...my spirit will goes on and I will always be with you,
my friend.''
Zykym says ''Not now! Please! Stay with me! I need you!''
Panda says ''I cannot, my dearest friend. It is my time to go soon...please,
do not cry. It hurts me when you do.''
Zykym hides his face in the panda's hide, still crying. The Panda knew how
much Zykym loved him and did not wanted to go. But his wisdom knew that his
body would not last for long...Zykym asked him to stay for a night...which
he
accepted and they had fun all night...Zykym fell asleep in the panda's arm
before the sun would rise...and the panda knew it was time to go...he closed
his eyes and took his last breath when the sun beginned to rise.

Subject: Something unusual

Zykym suddently woke up and felt wrong...like he had lost something. That is
when he realized something...the body of the panda was no longer as warm as
usual...he looked at him and saw no sign of life. The panda left without
saying goodbye. He knew he should not cry but he could not stop thinking
that
his best friend was gone...so he hugged him and held him so hard that he was
hurting himself. ''Come back!'' yelled Zykym but in vain. Then he heard a
voice. He knew this voice but could not believe it. Yes, it was the panda!
As
he looked up and washed the tears from his face, a huge light appeared from
the panda's body. As it stopped, the body was no longer there...but the
spirit of the panda came...a huge light with a form of a panda. ''My old
friend...a miracle happened! I am still alive! But not as a mortal...but as
an immortal!'' Zykym was so happy to see his friend back but was also
surprised that he has become an Immortal.
Panda says ''The Gods were watching over me. They knew I did not want to
leave you. They gave me power to stay with you forever!''
Zykym says ''Hooray! You and I will be united forever!''
And so, until Zykym was old enough to head to the Academy, they stayed
together and just stayed united. Before they left the Everlasting Tree, the
panda revealed his name for the first time to Zykym and gave him a medallion
that was dear to him. His name was...Zyluvan.

From time to time, they saw less and less each other. Zykym had entered the
Academy but still was not sure what he would do and Zyluvan was in Asgaard,
reading the Holy Books to learn more about everything. Zykym was in his
city,
Hamsah Mutazz, at the docks, looking at the sea...thinking about what he
would do. But his head was not thinking clearly...it has been a while since
Zyluvan and I have been together. All he really wanted was to be with
him...He then decided to go on the sea to change his mind about his
lonelyness. He was in the middle of the Aryth Ocean when clouds rapidly
gathered in the sky. Wind from the North blowed quite strongly some chilly
gust of wind. Waves brought the young elf against his will to another city,
the city of Seantryn Modan. Of course, he never came there...and was not
looking quite inviting. He wondered how he would be able to return
home...the
weather was too ugly to even think about going back...so he decided to rest
in a Inn for the night and see how the things would go.
Later that night, a light appeared in the sky...citizens wondered what was
happening. Then Zykym woke up and heard a voice...he knew that voice.
Follow the Light he said...so he did. He went to the southern part of the
city where the light was brighter. Citizens gathered around, wondering what
was happening in the ancient church. The young elf walked slowly towards the
light...oh he was not scared, he knew his friend would guide him where there
would be no danger. Citizens would tell him to back down, it was too
dangerous! But he would not listen. He kept walking and entered an old
church
and in the middle of it would stand Zyluvan.
Zyluvan says Welcome back old friend! I am sorry it took so much time...but
I was working on something...truly amazing.
Zykym says What could that be?
Zyluvan used some sort of magic and made appear a huge book. He then gave it
to Zykym and the elf started to read page by page what seemed to be a new
way
of life...

Zykym could read at the beginning of the book To my old friend Zykym, may
your life have a sense. The book started this way...
To those who have been looking for a meaning in life, to those who have
been losing hope against the Darkness, to those who seeked for a new Hero to
help him, this may be for you. The Order of the Giant Panda was once just a
Panda who lived this way. This is a way of life that may bring happyness to
those you cherish and that may anger those who seek to destroy all holiness
from the land. You can be one of those who seek to be teaching the ways of
the Giant Panda by living on your own, striving for all Justice and Honor,
defending all the opprimed and the helpless. And there is those who just
follow the Church, those who seek protection and pray to the Lord Zyluvan to
enlighten their lives and give them the strength to move on.
To be a member of the Templar, those who will obey my will:
- You will live in all solitude and will ask for no reward from those you
help. You are a Knight that serves those who live in all holiness. Your life
should be devoted to them and to the Church.
- You will be civilized and will live in harmony with everyone who live in
all holiness. Never fight them, leave them be since they all fight for the
good of Thera. Although if a Holy member of Thera fights his own, defend the
helpless.
- You will never step as low as your enemy. Always fight with honor and
respect your opponent. You are a member of the Church and someone respected.
You do not need to step lower than Darkness.
- The ways of the Order of the Giant Panda : Living right, being right,
fighting right. It is all about knowing that your actions are true and
right.
When the time will come, a church will rise and all will gather there to
praise the Light and ask for guidance. Until then, be strong and may the
Light show you the right way.
Zyluvan asked rapidly to Zykym So? What do you think of my book? Zykym
nodded to him and said it was wonderful. Zyluvan turned his old friend and
said I would like to be my voice in the mortal realm, old friend... Zykym
was surprised...wondered why he was asked such task! Zyluvan then said I
will let you choose your fate...this will be where I will await you. If you
choose to refuse...I will understand. And our friendship will still hold.
But
if you accept, I will help you to live a long life where your heart will no
longer ache. You and I will be united and we will give a better life to
those
of the Holy and those needy. With your help, we can do that I am sure.
Zykym was unsure...in his heart, he wanted to but...is it what he really
wanted? I want you to be my Knight...the Templar of the Giant Panda. No one
else understand me better than you...I will let you think about it. Said
Zyluvan. As the Panda God leaves with a beam of light, Zykym was deep in his
thoughts...

The young Zykym, who used to live an happy life in his little village,
changed
drasticaly with the death of all his friends. But he made one in this Giant
Panda
that he met after looking for his friends. The elf and the Panda were united
through thick and thin, they were always together and the panda, with all
his
wisdom, taught him many things. Until one day, the body of the panda gave
out and
left Zykym alone. But the Gods heard the request from the Panda and gave him
a place
in Asgaard so he could stay with his old friend, the elf. As the time passed
by,
the Panda, also known as Zyluvan, created something of his own to help the
Holiness
he always believed in, something known as The Order of the Giant Panda which
combined
Honor and dedication. He then asked to his friend, Zykym, to be a member of
his
church so both would be together in this battle against the Darkness and
together
can try to make a better world...
As for the religion, it was something based more on the honor. As the phrase
summerize it
well, Living right, being right, fighting right. The church, in the city of
Seantryn Modan,
there is two kind of members. The Templar Knights who fight for the honor
with dedication
and courage and there is those, considered as the people in need, who simply
follows
the Will of the Lord and prays for the wicked to turn to the Light and the
needy
so they can live happily.
