How many times have you been wandering around some remote, wilderness area and come across a displaced NPC on a warpath, looking for some poor shmuck to kick to death...
The Open Plains You are standing in the middle of what appears to be a nearly endless plain. All around you one foot tall stalks of dry grass sway to the gentle breeze which blows through here. The plains are very quiet, and in fact there seems to be no other traces of life here. There are no distinguishing features here to guide your path, save the sun, moon and stars. To the south you see a small hill breaking, and to the east you see a road. The plains continue north and west. (Exits: north east south west)
Sitting at an oak desk, a large dwarf is busily going through papers.
I propose a new type of description for NPC's which are removed from their normal environs. I don't expect every NPC to get this treatment, but it's something a bored staff member might want to mess with in their spare time, no? Assuming the NPC is tracking someone, the descriptions should probably be something that would indicate it.
