Rather than having emote transcend singularly to a name, perhaps add the option of adding an "'" option to when you emote. For example:

Currently an emote using an ' double spaces:

>emote 's eyes begin to swell after the strike to his face.
Joe 's eyes begin to swell after the strike to his face.

What would be cleaner and nicer to see is:

>emote's (or: emote 's) eyes begin to swell after the strike to his face.
Joe's eyes begin to swell after the strike to his face.

etc. etc.

Secondly, having the game automatically tag a period to the end of an emote would be a bit easier to some, unless it detects the use of an "!" or other grammical sentance ends.
