For what it's worth (maybe nothing ) I never knew DB hit on backfist, either, so I went through a few of the Taqab logs you posted and found this:

You notice that the ruin just outside the door turns black, a dark wall appearing where before there was just blasted gray rock.

You step inside a cat's claw with a quick backfist.
You cannot find the Cabal Power within you.
You trample around loudly again.
Your claw maims a cat!


It looks like a possible DB at the end there. Other than that, though, you had almost no backfists in the logs I looked at. You were always wielding a staff or a sword+shield in them!
