What is the reason that almost all weapons weigh around 14-17lb. Is there an Theranian standard organisation? Thera is populated by a large array of creatures yet the majority of weapons weigh just so that they can not be dual wield by none-spec’ed warriors.

Oh, yea, one more thing I have been wondering about.
Is it true that you fight best with a weapon that have a level just around your own level? And if so what’s the argument for that? I realise not all swords are equally easy to use, but lets face it, if you are a master of a broadsword, odds are you will be a master of another broadsword as well – even if it use to belong to a dead elven lich.
