How about adding different 'emotes' to different foods. So that say, bread would be like 'Chuckie parts the bread and eats it.' or 'Elwood slowly sips from his bowl of hearty soup.' for soup.

Food that comes in 'parts'. Examining a food item will show something like 'There is 1/4th of the pie left', and you'd only eat a small portion at a time. Imagine a gnome eating a big pie in one go or something.

I really 'like' the plate with steak and potatoes from near Hardan. More foods that come with plates maybe?
