#1205, "Empowerment (yet again)"

Ok, you get your power from the immortal's sphere so you have to be empowered by him/her, fine. Ok, now you have to get empowered twice (as popular as that may be), fine.

But just because IC the immortal is empowering you does it have to happen OOC that way? It would be a much simpler world if Nazmorghul was snooping his shaman follower and he happened to notice Lloth's healer in the same group. The Lloth follower was totally putting on a show and upstaging the Nazmorghul follower. In the prayer logs the Lloth follower has been praying in an appropriate location occassionally so instead of putting an immortal post it note (tm) on the player he just does the mini empower on the spot. A couple days later Nashyr is watching one of his healers who happens to be grouped with the Lloth healer. Again the healer is putting on some stellar action, has prayed at Lloth's shrine with no response, and is getting pretty close to the level where that second empowerment will be required. Nashyr throws him another on the spot empowerment and some snazzy little echo. So let's say Lloth still hasn't seen the dude and he manages to get to level 42. Well Lloth can now summon the dude to the shrine and have the little empowerment talk. What if Lloth doesn't like the guy? Well she can warn him then feed him to a drider... he can't be that bad if Nashyr and Nazmorghul gave him the double thumb sign.

This way you could also put a few of the 53+ immortals that don't want to dedicate themselves to a religion on "empowerment rounds." You can only play once a week? Fine, don't run a religion. Get some good quality mortal interaction and please the playerbase at the same time.
