Well, 30s mage < 40s < 51s mages (in most cases).
Still, I've read the abs thread on the contest forum, but I couldn't fetch the reason of moving wands and posibility to explore for them towards hero range other than "we think it should be moved there". Just a few points: - if you want exploration aspect in getting wands I can understand it. But why don't let level 30 mage explore for it and make detect artifact available. For a middle level mages exploration is hardly an easy walk even with this spell. - why move the barrier edge and most of barrier sources to near hero? If you make barriers available for 30s mages, it will not make it worse for other classes than hero mages vs. other classes. The only problem I see with that: affordable wand sources at 30 will be easy for heroes, but I think it can be solved with level limits on wands like this wand works for 30-35, etc. Hell, you can even come with separate sets of sleeks for 30-40 and 40-51.
