Do with this what you want. I just thought it was kinda catchy as a "hook" in an ad:

This one might be useful for snagging WoW players (there are millions, afterall)

"Before there was WoW, there was The Carrion Fields."


You might have to check this for veracity. I really don't know the whole history of MUDs.

"Welcome to the world's longest lived massively-multiplayer online role-playing game (or just MMORPG)."


Does anyone take issue with CF being referred to as an MMORPG? I mean, sure, it's not so massive, but at its core I think it has always sought to be.
