Thorns
You are walking on a thick organic ramp that has grown from the
trunk of the enormous, ancient tree that looms to high above to the
north. The ramp zigzags and spirals in an organic, chaotic fashion
that makes it difficult to navigate. A thick and dangerous bramble
of thorns grows profusely at the edge of the path, making ascent
impossible save for a singular path that meanders its way across the
wood. A round knot in the wood forms a ledge here, forming the only
flat area on the ramp. To the north, the ramp continues to ascend while
a steep descent downwards the ramp meets the forest floor below.

Within the Dark Forest
The evergreens here seem to rise higher and lean over the pathway
more than they do in other parts of the Forest of Prosimy. The
overhanging tree canopy is extremely thick, allowing no light in, and
even light within the forest seems to penetrate no more than inches of
the thick, inky darkness which surrounds you. The forest here is
extremely quiet, devoid of the sounds of wildlife and birds which
permeate the majority of the wilderness. The forest seems to continue
in all directions, but you find you cannot judge it well.

A single, huge tree rises above its peers here, wreathed in a ramp
of living thorns.

allowing little room for one to pass through unmolested by the gnarled,
twisted branches of the large trees. The overhanging tree canopy is
extremely thick, allowing no light in, and even light within the forest
seems to penetrate no more than inches of the thick, inky darkness which
surrounds you. The forest here is extremely quiet, devoid of the sounds
of wildlife and birds which permeate the majority of the wilderness. The
forest becomes brighter to the west, and continues to the east, where you
cannot see.

A Fork in a Path Through the Prosimy
The various shades of green which color the surrounding forest are as
vast in number as the trees themselves, which extend as far as one
can see into the distance. Tall and strong, the conifers here climb
toward the sky above, the treetops more than forty feet above the soft,
moss-covered ground. The sound of birds and the rustling of the thick
underbrush make one aware of how vibrant the life of the forest is.
Various animal tracks can be seen upon the leaf-covered ground. The path
continues toward the north and the south, and another branch of the path
heads off to the east.

Something seems horribly wrong with the plant life here.

Light seeps through the thick mesh of trees to reveal a slightly trampled
path. No signs of wildlife can be heard nor seen except a slight rustle of
some bushes. The plant life is alive but wilting and large, glossy cobwebs
can be seen spread between the trees. A slight breeze blows through, rustling
the leaves and carrying a smell of decay. A small sign is barely visible over
the tall bushes at the beginning of the trail. To the north lies the dark
forest. To the south you can see an immense structure further down the trail.

Standing Before a Large Steel Door
The door to the mansion is a mixture of green and brown caused by the ivy
and rust covering it. The door appears to have just recently been forced to
move. The stench of decay is overwhelming here and it seems to come from
inside the mansion. The mansion itself is obviously old and extremely dirty.
The stones that form the walls, that the old door is set in, appear to have
originally been a grayish hue, though they are currently covered with a thick
layer of green, wilting moss. Several obvious chunks of stone have fallen onto
the ground and what other stones can be seen are obviously crumbling from
weight and age. To the north lies a dim trail and the steel door leads south
into the mansion.

they illuminate a thin trail. No signs of wildlife can be heard or seen and
it suddenly feels as though you are being watched. The trees are tall and
ominous and fit together keeping most of the light from getting to the floor
of the forest. To the west you can hear a faint sound and to the east a path
can be seen.

Forest
Seeming somewhat more alive than the rest of the forest, the plant life
is growing and is rather green. Several animals can vaguely be heard off in
the woods. The trees here are thinner and allow more light to shine through
the canopy. Deep footprints are evidence of the passage of some sort of
military. The air looks clear to the south, to the north a light haze swirls
in the woods.

A Trail in a Valley
Dark smoke rings rise from the mountain far to the south. The air is clean
and crisp and the trees rustle with the breeze. The forest to the north and
up the hill is dark and gloomy while the forest further south is bright and
vibrant. Bright colors fill the valley as does a large tent to east. The
sound of insects fills the air and the sweet smell of flowers is carried in
the light breeze. Several bushes are obvious just off to the side of the path.
The ground is a bit rough from small hills and holes caused by various animals.

large oak trees a good distance off of the trail. The ground is a bit rough
from small hills and holes caused by various animals.

A Trail In a Valley
Dark smoke rings rise from the mountain far to the south. The air is clean
and crisp and the trees rustle with the breeze. The forest to the north and
up the hill is dark and gloomy while the forest further south is bright and
vibrant. Bright colors fill the valley as does a large tent to east. The
sound of insects fills the air and the sweet smell of flowers is carried in
