On a Small Forest Trail 
  The narrow, packed-earth trail here passes through the heavy woods, and
bears the tracks of animals upon its surface.  The trees crowd both sides
of the trail, and their leaves and branches hang high overhead to create a
thick, largely impenetrable canopy.  Many small animals can be seen near
the trail, with foxes and hares skittering through the underbrush, and
birds of various sorts making their homes in the branches of the tall,
stoic evergreens.  The forest path continues to the west and south, and
another path runs off to the north.
