One thing is you tend not to play when I am on, anymore (my job doesn't let me mud all morning like my old one did, sadly). The other thing is, if you recall the history of Twist (original life, his betrayal, and reawakening) you'll see it is pretty obvious he distrusts Scions in general, and sorta sees them as a bastardization of his beloved Masters. Nexus is closer to what Master was (in Twist's mind - ideology, not power set), so that's why he hangs with them.
