Vanzokh was acting on his own, as you were quite useful and I never really fell victim to the urge IC to have you killed, as I mentioned. However, I'm also not the type to stop a Scion from following their desires as long as they don't actively conflict with my or the Chasm's goals. Let's just say that when you were with me, you were safe, and even when you weren't, there would have been a lot more pk attempts from various Scions if Restraal hadn't found you interesting/amusing. Instead, you had access to Scion power on some of the expeditions you wanted to take, as we both have a penchant for exploration and knowledge.
