--Well, I don't know what happened within the cabal after my time, but if it was the same sort of thing as when I was there, then my only defense for me killing/raiding a lot more was this: 90% of the time I was on, my range was atrocious (same with you guys, right?), so when I actually got the aid from others to raid, I did. I guess you could call it Urden's sense of revenge. I also think that this was the period when S.T. was closed, as well as hell. This is not to say that the cabal had no quests going or anything, but I think it was probably a bit off-track for a while there. I like what I'm hearing about the new cabal system via this thread, however. The only problem I see with it is the obvious: how can you compete with raids and even getting your own item back when the cabal is so low in sheer numbers? Maybe you guys will figure that out.
>In all honesty, if I had waited until only times when Scion >was strong and in power, and all our enemies were dealt with, >I would *never* have been able to go take care of those >quests, let alone do a number of other things that I felt had >equal or greater importance to the cabal wars. This isn't to >say I avoided raids, or recovering, or any of that, I just >felt it was important to put them in perspective of other >priorities as well.
--Amen to that. There is no shame in doing what the character wants/ needs to do to keep you interested. If the player aint happy, the character aint lasting. Bizarro I'm helping!
