Well done on leading the empire. I would agree with others that the Empire's power waned after the coup attempt, but I wouldn't place the blame at your feet. I would say no one forced you (or the imm's) hands on promotion enough. It's one of the cabals I've never lead, and I think it must be one of the hardest, given the varying tasks an empire leader has over those of any other cabal.
