I really understood what you were saying, but while you equated causing a person to flee I am more interested in viable pk'ing tactics. In my opinion, if you're not looting their corpse at the end of the fight, you had a stalemate. However you're right, I just don't count beating someone while hasted the same as landing a kill by using a scroll/staff to force a situation of either A) permalag or B) lack of escape or C) enough damage to pick them off with a call lightning. In respect to the former, yeah you're 100% right, rangers can fight well out of the woods. As far as landing solid hero range pks? You're crippled out of the woods in that regards, with exception to a few rare tactical exploitations. We're probably not disagreeing with each other more as placing value in different areas.
