Chapter 1

Bahlue was born upon the ground near the river outside
of the village of the Black Claw to a peon fela who
was always fearful with a tad of hope. He grew away
from those in the village and learned to hunt and
gather on his own in the woodlands, living in nooks
and small caves. His education is sparse. Yet life
has taught him compassion that he feels for those like
his mother forced to live at others whims for a pittance.
She was terribly wounded by an evil overlord for being
a tad slow on some menial task and she died in Bahlues arms
in a small cave in the woodlands near the river. Bahlues
spirit becamed inflamed by the injustice of the laws that
supported such a vile act and stepped outside of the villages
codes completely.

He became self-sufficient early in his life and takes
a quiet pride that his paws were good weapons against
that which he could eat. A knight stopped for a time upon
the rivers edge and taught him the rudiments of combat
that he strives to improve on.
One day as he was out exploring he came upon a pool and
learned of a once proud group that had succumbed to its
demise and the possibility of another group called Outlanders
that seek those things he has thought about. On this same
journey he found a quiet spot to the south of the forest that
felt like a place of ancient times. He has learned of Thar-Eris
while living amongst the One-Hearts and seeks to learn more
more about this idea.
