Chapter 2

Bendegoh quickly adapted to life in the village. Fighting those who use
magic was all he wanted and knew how to do. When he is not killing mages,
which recently he has done little, he is working on the veil. These are
jobs that can not stop because the war is not yet won. And speaking of
war, it has gained a boost recently, by the enemies: the return of
Gaspare, an imperial lich god. This had such a big impact on us villagers,
who had a part in that return, that our Drillmaster decided to go into
exile. We were already without a commander. We know that the times to
come will be difficult, even more without a leader, but looking back, the
village has gone through so many ups and downs that if we remain firm in
our purposes we will rise again. We need to recruit and train new blood
to get what's coming. We have lost only one battle, the war continues.
