Chapter 1

Erzu was born to a human mother and drow father. She has
a twin brother however they were separated at birth. Her mother
was treated very poorly and seen as inferior due to her race.
Erzu's father took her twin brother away to raise him on his
for he would never allow him to be tainted by his mother.

As such, Erzu and her mother left the village where their family
had spent many years establishing themselves. They ended up
settling in Galadon and working tables at the Copeham Inn. The
innkeeper was very tolerant of Erzu as she grew up and often used
to allow her up on the stage to perform infront of a raucous crown.

There they remained for many years until one fateful day when
Erzu was nearly twenty years old. As fate would have it, Erzu's
father and twin brother were visiting Galadon and booked a
room at the Copeham Inn. They didn't recognize eachother
initially, however her mother, after serving them some alcohol,
picked up on a certain characteristic that the father used to do
when drinking. It was a twitch in his hand and often led to spilled
beer. No sooner than she noticed this, she turned around and
whisked Erzu away back to their room.
