Chapter 1

Hi, I'm Kipple Thiddledrip, one of the smallest gnomes you'll ever meet with
what I think is the biggest personality ever! I come from a long line of
mages, but I never was able to pick up on controlling mana like most magi are.
It didn't bother me too much, but my parents didn't take a liking towards
my inept abilities. So I ventured off to explore the world, leaving at a rather
young gnomish age and came to a lovely, large city called Galadon.

Being in Galadon was an eye opener for a young gnome like me, being kept
up in Hillcrest, distant to most places in Thera, didn't see many new things.
Giants are one thing, ho boy, those guys are large! I do whatever I can
to dodge their footsteps, but this place has a lot of diversity, and many interesting
things to see.

----A few years pass, I'm 60 now----

Kipple the thief, no.... Kipple the assassin, Yes! But they don't teach gnomes?
Racist! Oh, it's just that gnomes don't make good assassins. Makes sense.
Fine, the warrior guild accepts any and all! I'll do that! So I joined the
warriors guild, since I had no magical talent, and I'm too honest to be a
thief, to honest for my own good sometimes. I'll give this a whirl and see
where my adventures take me.

A few weeks after starting my training in the Academy, I've already done a lot
as a warrior, at least I think I have. I've slain big, and I mean BIG rats!
Holy crap were those things big, and I was able to help the coffinmaker with
making the graveyard a bit safer, though ghost are creepy in the way they
can reach right through you.

I keep hearing a lot about the Gods and Goddess, and religion never really
occured to me, due to my parents never really being religious, but I feel a bit lost
without some kind of guidance of the divine. Perhaps I'll do a bit more research about
it and figure out if it's for me! I do have time on my side after all as we
gnomes live long fated lives!
