Chapter 1

Life. Prior to serving an authoritative figure as an Elite of the
Blade Sect, I spent much time as an Imperial Blade. At this stage,
I began spreading my influence. I note the strength of the Battle
Ragers, Haters of Magic. I killed many, however regardless of them
drawing power from the Bloody Head or not. The times in which I did
fall them, I began announcing their deaths for all of Empire to hear.
The dwindling spirit of Imperial Citizens would strengthen as word of
my victories began spreading throughout Thera.

One battle in particular, I recollect. This battle would catch the
attention of the BladeMaster, guardian of the sacred Codex. At the
time prior to the battle, I decided to campaign upon Mount Kiadana
Rah. I campaigned there with Sostun, a drow invoker of the Spire I
was quite comfortable in travelling with, and another whom I do not
remember. The younger Villagers, four of them, came for the Bloody
Head. Their moves were precise, but in their numbers were far too
over-confident. They struck down the first set of Centurions whom
secured the northern entrance of Balator. They proceeded as I kept
my group upon the Mount, as I neared a new title and was anxious to
claim it. Upon attaining it, I quickly began towards Balator with
Sostun. We engaged upon Imperial Road, and Sostun who unfortunately
quickly fell without offensively assisting. Watching Sostun fall,
I saw before me four of them. Blurred with a passion that overcame
everything of me at the time, I now harnass it much better, I fell
them all and claimed victory.

The BladeMaster would personally congratulate me for all of Empire
to hear of my might, yet scorn my tardiness. I bowed to him, for
I had made a grave mistake that could legitimately had me casted
from the Empire. I had chosen myself over Empire. The BladeMaster
corrected me in my ways, we move on.
