Chapter 12

Woldrun was born and raised in your standard run-of-th-mill cloud giant
village. It was not burned and razed by magi. He is not the chosen one
from some ancient prophecy. His wife was not raped by duergar, nor is
he an exile due to killing someone in a bloodlusty rage.

Woldrun's family has always believed that one must work with what
one is given, and not look too far outside of yourself and your own
body and mind. Generally distrusting of magi, for they make use of powers
that come from elsewhere, Woldrun has been taught that magicians truly do
over-reach and try to make more of themselves than what the Gods gave
them.

He doesn't truly hate magi, but he doesn't like them either. He will
certainly not shy away from attacking one that he feels he can kill,
both to prove a point and because he enjoys combat.

He will almost certainly attempt to join the BattleRagers, for they
exemplify all that he has come to believe in - self-reliance, combat
strength, courage, and a sense of family.
