Chapter 4

Woldrun plods along his course, tumbling down the mortal coil like a large
grey boulder tumbling down the mountain of life. Often, magi and those who
serve them are crushed beneath the landslide that Woldrun's tumbling triggers.
On occasion, however, enough enemies will bunch together and cause a bump
in Woldrun's course.

These bumps in the path are nothing Woldrun concerns himself with, however.
Each bump is just another challenge, each time a pack of mangy animals tears
at his flesh is just another opportunity to show his Courage and Pride.

In other matters, he has done fairly well. He is now the Commaner of the Village,
a feat which has impressed even his father. He has visited with more of
the Gods above, including Lord Kastellyn, which impressed his father even more.

Recently he has engaged in several good battles, and come out the victor.
Despite the times falling to overwhelming odds, life is good.
