As you lash a gnomish thief, a spurt of blood squirts from the vicious wound!
Your brutal lashing EVISCERATES a gnomish thief!
Your brutal lashing maims a gnomish thief!
A gnomish thief is convulsing on the ground.


Because it doesn't cause bleeding as far as I can tell.
