But as a result I see the issue, so big thanks for pressing the issue.

SO!

Ends up it wasn't spellbane.
It was just that EVERY time a mage casts a spell while in combat, it re-engages the bouncer - irrelevant of spellbane.

I fixed that.

A bouncer already in combat will no longer trigger off of other casts.
