You receive edge points every 500xp for Exploration. This maxes out at 25,000 Explore XP.

Edit: I noticed this seemed a bit off, so I asked Daevryn for clarification. You do not receive edge points for the first 1000 explore xp, so the cap is actually 26,000.

Reaching 5000 Exploration XP (or more) prior to level 30 will get you bonus Edge Points.

Is it a one-time bonus just for hitting 5k exploration xp before lvl 30 or do you get more bonus edge points for getting more exploration xp that early?

You get edge points for reaching 5000 (or more) exploration xp before level 30.

5000 is the mark. Getting 6000 or 7000 or 8000 doesn't change the amount of edgepoints you get.

About Observation xp you wrote "You receive bonus edge points if you reach 10,000 Observation XP before level 30" but about exploration xp you wrote "Reaching 5000 Exploration XP (or more) prior to level 30 will get you bonus Edge Points". I was just trying to make sure if the "(or more)" part have any specific meaning. I am from your answer now assuming it does not.
