‘‘Tis the season of giving. As such I’m going to double the number of PBFs that I’m going to pick up for December. I’m asking for suggestions to ease the amount of sifting that I have to do to fill out the selections.

Usually I ask that the character be at least close to 100hrs, but that could take some time, so instead I’ll just ask for two suggestions maximum from any given handle. For that reason I’ll ask that you don’t post suggestions anonymously. 40 characters is the ask. Thanks in advance.

I've seen that there is no Dread Lord, but I haven't seen Bakrmarr on the graveyard in game or on the forum, nor did I see a Twitter RIP. However, Glaunm immediately showed up when Twist deleted him.

I thought it had something to do with the ability to undelete your hero char for a week, but why didn't Glaunm happen the same way?

You get your chance to undelete even if you didn't die if your PK score is really high. I've had it as Grokko as well. Casual delete with undelete option for 3 days.

I "pushed" the delete through manually. OMG IMP HAX!

Bakrmarr will show up 3 days from when he deleted.

Suggestion: instead of buying an obscene amount of PBFs this December, spread them out evenly over the next year (or more).

I’ve been picking up 20/month since I think March, or perhaps April. So I wouldn’t call 40 an obscene amount. Once I hit the anniversary I will likely tone it down a lot, but until then hop on the train. Not certain why some are advising to hold back, however, I have always felt that donations would be helpful?

They are helpful. Just trying to avoid watering down the quality of character whose PBF you're buying.

They were the invoker running around with Malch and Venara iirc.

Thanks for picking up all these PBFs, they are always fun to read on a slow work day.

However, I wouldn’t be able to buy food if I took that on. Maybe when I get a book deal or ten. Winning the lottery would also suffice, please send all winning tickets to me and I’ll ensure the MUD sees most of it. ;)

The PBFs are something cool that comes with that.

Umiron has stated that more than once. So pushing it and devaluing PBFs is not the best thing you can do. What you CAN do however (if you have time) is volunteer for some stuff that doesn't require you to imm but helps the game.

I would be on board for that too, but I’m not sure of what I can do in terms of volunteerism.

I wouldn’t mind if they were devalued for Canadian currency ;). It’s usually about 135 after conversion. Not what you meant I know, but up until this month I have half to certain standards with regards to who I unlock. They might not need it, but who can’t do more with some extra cash?
