I played one Beastmaster to Hero years ago and agree with everything you stated. I have no plans to play another. The Beastmaster skills are woefully underwhelming. I don't have time to put hundreds of hours into wasted characters.

Oh, I most often tamed the scorpions on the dry riverbed in hopes of getting some extra poison. That's how sad that skill is.
