There was no forum for Marcatis/Jasthrean so I post this here, I apologize if this is the wrong board for it.

Is this just SOP for Marcatis/Jasthrean? Did I just suck with this char and totally miss the mark? Was Marcatis not around much during this time? Is this the direction the staff is moving in in regards to empowerment?

114 hours played to get empowered to lvl 39? Was it because I was hovering near my cutoff points waiting for more juice? Also, either all of my bumps in power were done offline or there was no echo for it. The utter lack of imm comments just left me with more questions than before I saw it.

The empowerment progress of this char killed any enjoyment as much if not more than my connection speed woes.

You only get the first echo, after that subsequent empowerments are not alerted to you. Marcatis was on vacation for a while there, so I tried to help out in his absence.

And that you were helping him out by giving me a slight bump and the explanation for subsequent empowerment bumps and no echoes.

This was just a really strange empowerment experience for me out of the slew of empowerment characters I have played.

just to be sure, the bump to 39 was without a second empowerment talk?

I talked to Jasthrean once for a minute for initial empowerment, beyond that, I talked to no one.

Sometimes people level faster than you can talk to them too, so while you may not want to give them a full empowerment without another talk, you still want them to be able to keep playing. I'm guilty of that too, giving a 5 level bump here and there because I'm at work or whatever and can't RP with you.

I think this was handled nicely. Even IMMs have the right to go on vacation.
