177, Tribunal idea

Disclaimer: I have never played a Tribunal nor Arbiter, so my idea is
based on the fact that many people say Tribunals need
improvement, not on the fact that I think so.

Anyways, I think that can make Tribunals more fun to play, and make
them more realistic.

The idea is: salary for Tribunals. It should not be low, say 2-3 gold
per day, or something like that. It should offer substantial bonuses
for killed criminals. Perhaps it should take into account the time
Tribunal spends on and off duty.

So it should not be only a desire to keep order (which is very
difficult to justify), but it will also be a work for money.

Now, what's the source of money? I think the in-game explanation
could be that the merchants in the protected cities pay some part
of their income to the cabal for protection. Of course, they will
have to protect merchants, too. So those who try to steal from wizard
will have to deal with WANTED flag.

Or there might be some other source of Cabal income which I am not
aware of yet.

Does anybody have any opinion on that?

The only thing I don't like about Tribunal as it is right now is the lack of Justiciars/Vindicators and lack of whatever needs to be there for them to be made. They don't need money, they have permaguards and vigilance. Maybe give them back the canteens...I miss those things.

I like it alot...but the whole getting payed idea was brought up before, and was rejected for one reason or the next.
